But seriously, after the classless move by the NDSU coach in garbage time in Newark, I'd pull for JMU. I really didn't like that stunt and will never forget it. Hopefully we put together a decent team one of these years so we can return that favor. We'll surely never forget it.

And the JMU defense is about 33% better in every category than Montanas
which adds up to 100% chance of steam rolling

I don't really disagree with the eGriz sentiment that Sneed should've been benched, at least temporarily. Weber spent most of the game showing blitz and then dropping 7 or 8 back into coverage, and Sneed kept falling for it.

Montana’s D played their asses off. Not that Weber is some offensive juggernaut but they’ve played well at times this year and the Griz held Weber to 12 less than a great UNI defense did.

I don’t like calling out players and coaches for performance that much but which coach’s son is the bigger douche, Hauck or Petrino? Robey could have been flagged about 5 times last night.

Showing blitz and dropping back typically means ZONE DEFENSE
and Montana has shown no ability to move the ball consistently against any variety of zone defenses

The Montana offense has (as far as I can tell) no Zone Beater plays
if they do they sure don't call them

When you know Toure is going to be doubled
the fist adjustment would be to then move him to slot
and run him right up the seam and clear the middle of the field

next:
if you're playing against a zone - then - run plays that are designed to stretch the zone and leave large gaps
example: put two wideouts on one side of the field with Toure in the slot
run the outside wideout deep / run the slot on an inside slant to pull the safety down
and drag the runningback into the vacated zone

The Griz ran zero of these types of zone beaters

It’s fair to say the NDSU coaching staff didn’t know how bad the Hens were. Most teams try and win to the final gun. Turns out that’s not necessary when playing the Hens. They quit early and carry a chip on their shoulder if you don’t.

It's generally customary to run out the clock (or actually kick the damn field goal) when you're ahead by three touchdowns with under two minutes left in a game. At least on this planet.

No worries though. Like I said, we'll be looking to repay the favor some day. It won't be forgotten.

That’s an oxymoron, Weber State beat the second-best team on JMU side of the bracket... After watching NDSU suck ass against ISU there’s a strong chance Weber State gets their first title! Hell, Montana State might even beat the bxtchboy bison! BigSkyFTW!

Weber States D is as good as UNI’s

I don't think that it is. UNI was higher rated in both total and scoring defense despite playing in a tougher conference.

The main thing, though, is Weber State's offense. It got 113 yards. That's less than UNI got playing against JMU. Not by much (just one yard). But less. They had a +5 advantage in the giveaway/takeaway stat and won by 7 points.

If I"m a JMU fan I'm thinking the better of the two potential opponents did not win.
