SO many great things from that piece, even right from the start...
women’s-clothing-friendly 72 degrees
Every woman in that photo is wearing a turtleneck and/or sweater. It aint the clothing that makes women bitch about the thermostat. If women are cold because they're in bikinis, I'll raise the thermostat.

Feminism is about all the privileges of equality with none of the responsibilities.

Oh, and how do they know these men don't identify as women? Bigots.

That was mentioned and the women were careful to acknowledge self identification.

That’s unfortunate. The best check on populist Presidents would be about 200 of him in the House and 56 in the Senate

Nobody questions Justin’s commitment to limited government, fiscal sanity, and an end to foreign adventurism. But with all this impeachment nonsense, one Libertarian poster that I respect now calls him a self-righteous prig. He’s read the fawning NYT/WaPo press clippings and believes them.

Amash is right on both. Unfortunately, I’m guessing his disconnect like many fiscal conservatives, revolves around the why.

Like “comedians” telling jokes

You only agree with him because he’s critical if Trump and his GOP toadies

Never fear though.... he’ll be railing on runaway spending in a donk administration soon enough (I think 2028) and you can look down your nose at him again

I like libertarians because they have a tendency to be more consistent and principled. Remember...thoughtful moderate.

And it’s downright adorable that you think you somehow won the comedy argument.

Hell, if I was in Congress, I’d vote against any bill that provided for a net increase on federal spending. As Chizzy says, we have a spending problem. It’s easy for Amash and any principled budget hawk to vote no on this POS. Most local Libertarians I know have given up on Justin in terms of helping the party. His self-righteous impeachment antics are a large part of it.

Your 2nd to last sentence tells it all. Too many people place party over principle (not to mention country).

Check out Tulsi Gabbard’s explanation for voting present on impeachment if you want to see another example of principled governance.

Oh FFS. She "voted present" because it wasn't bipartisan?
How about voting based on what you believe on the issue at hand? Does Trump's action(s) fit the definition of an impeachable offense or not?

Do you think she would have said "present" if she was the deciding vote?

Read her explanation. I don’t agree with her on this btw...but forest for the trees...something or other.

That said, I like the direction it is going. :D
