can we make a wager on the NE / TEN game...
You realize that
a) The Titans defensive coordinator was a NE defensive coordinator - so um... he knows the Patriots
b) The Titans coach was a Patriot player
c) The Titans DB coach devised about half of the NE coverage schemes
Points will be hard to come by
and the better QB plays for the Titans not the Patriots
and the better RB plays for the Titans
and the better TE plays for the Titans
and the better WR plays for the Titans
The Patriots are going to have to fool the Titans to win this game / they can't beat them straight up

The way the Titans are playing right now I would be shocked if they lose to NE.

Re: AFC Playoffs / NFC Playoffs
I know Vrabel was a Patriot. He'll probably also be on the lookout for trick plays, probably because he took part in a lot of them as a Patriot. But I'm banking on Brady's ability to shine on the big stage...AND the fact that we all know about the types of things BeliCheat will resort to in order to win a playoff game....

So much for the GOAT.
Time to retire and play with his supermodel.

Ruh-roh! Vikes up 10 on Aints late 3Q. Could another GOAT QB be going down?

Re: AFC Playoffs / NFC Playoffs
Hoping the Saints come back. I don't want the Eagles traveling to the tundra in a revenge game with a healthy Davante Adams this time.
Not that SF would be a picnic, but at least they haven't faced the Eagles lately. Eagles would still be TD+ dogs in either game.
And, yeah, the Eagles still have to play Seattle first, and they're no slouch.

Re: AFC Playoffs / NFC Playoffs
All the credit in the world to that Vikings offensive line...
I figured the Saints would have Cousins running for his life back there
Well done Vikings !!!!
This is a Cousins SIGNATURE victory
and why can't Sean Peyton win big games?

Well, it's nice to see the Saints eliminated anyway.

The last three years have been dreadful. Hell, the Eagles were an Alshon Jeffery final drive through-his-hands drop (and resulting INT) from beating them last year in their first playoff game.Chizzang wrote:Ya... 2-693henfan wrote:

Two more Vegas books just went -1 Eagles (from pick 'em) late. Somebody had to have dumped a boatload on the Eagles late.
