You need only compare how the media covered a smirking teen with a MAGA hat to how they covers Jews being stabbed to see the media is only concerned about certain kinds of hate.

In other news, SeattleGriz goes to Costco and is out the door before their advertised time to open.

Opened the doors 15 minutes early. First one in the door.

You are right. That does not warrant it's own thread.

All the cadets pictured giving a Nazi salute will be fired, West Virginia governor says
All of the West Virginia correctional cadets seen apparently giving a Nazi salute will be fired, West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced.
The image, discovered in early December, shows the members of the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation Basic Training Class 18 with one arm raised. The text above reads "HAIL BYRD!" in a reference to a training instructor for the class, according to the state Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety.

Another day brings more issues. The youngest has been constipated for 8 days now. Following the Children's hospital protocol for relieving constipation.

He never had this issue until we started him on his anti psychotic medication for his self injurious behavior. This is different than the Ritalin we tried and stopped over Christmas break.

You ever try to get a severely autistic kid to drink Miralax? Rates right up there with our giving him a suppository the other day.

I have to give my mother Miralax. I mix it with cranberry juice or lemonade and sometimes water. She has no clue. How are you doing it?

We have a random water cup just sitting out that he sips on, but if we really need him to drink it, we'll put it in Sprite.

Now that we have all day to get three servings in him, I'll probably try to wrestle with him all day. Get him a little sweaty and he starts drinking water!

We put some in apple juice, but that is only a 50/50 shot.

Essentially everything he has out as a drink has Miralax in it.

This will now become a regular occurrence.

Victim of Violent Home Invasion Speaks; Credits Wife With Saving His Life With AR-15
King said he was inside his home Wednesday when two masked men armed with guns barged in around 9 p.m. He said he doesn't know who they are, never met them and has no idea why he was targeted. Both men pointed guns at King while demanding money.

“They came in heavily hooded and masked. As soon as they had got the back door opened, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter,” he said.

King said one of the men started pistol-whipping him while another kicked him repeatedly in the head. His wife, who is eight months pregnant, was in the back bedroom and peeked out to see what was going on.

King said one of the men shot at her. She retreated, grabbed an AR-15 and returned fire.

“When he came toward the back door in her line of sight, she clipped him,” King said. “He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing.”

Deputies later found a man dead in a nearby ditch. The other gunman ran off after that fatal shot was fired.

"Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” King said. “(My wife) evened the playing field and kept them from killing me."

Went to the ER for our constipated son and was given a prescription for Lactulose. An artificial sugar that breaks down and draws water into the bowels to hopefully make him pass his stool.

We gave him a suppository, then a mineral oil enema in addition to his Miralax dose, before we went to the ER.

This whole issue has been majorly compounded by his autism. Not real fun restraining your child to shove stuff up his ass.

Damn. Best wishes on that., SG. Hope he gets it moving before surgery is needed.

I guess I'll just stfu about my four days of being stopped up every time I take chemo. I've been using a 2-in-1 colace/senna pill for that with pretty good success.

Like you said though, it's a bitch when the patient doesn't communicate traditionally. Wish I could offer some sort of help.

I can only imagine with his condition. Our youngest held it in all week at camp one year and got scared of pooping it out. Laxatives, and coaching that prairie dog out eventually produced a pringles can.

He got an X-ray and they're not too worried right now as he had no blockages. In addition to him being active and playful.

Kids got a gut on him now!

Then I found out that my problem was common - most guys puckered up

I'm watching the Nick Saban/Tua going pro presser on ESPN.

Why do southern people say "progrum" instead of "program"?

It's almost as bad as New Yorkers saying "standing on line" instead of "standing in line".

*Newsworthy* but no paper will write an article.

He pooped! We were just giving him the prescription stuff and he went before he got more than 15% drank. I assume the prescription had not had a chance to work.

But I bet when all that sugar hit his stomach, it triggered something.
