Yep, Ohio State proves just how tough they are every year in the BC$.TerrorD wrote:and my dump was shaped like Wilbon's head, so..TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

Seriously, it's like you sit in the dome and listen to people when Billy takes the field. The kid is a great great kicker but for some reason he can't win over fans. How do you know all of this?native wrote:In Billy Hallgren, the Panthers enjoy the services of one of the elite kickers in the country. He ranks 2nd in 2008 kick scoring among returning FCS kickers, with 108 points. Among the top 25 returning kickers, Billy ranks 6th in longest field goal made (47 yards), 8th in both PAT% (96.2%) and kicks per game (9.8), and 9th in net kickoff yardage (avg KO 60+ yards with an average NET of 39.1 yards). He has a respectable 73.7% red zone FG% rate and provided the margin of victory against both Youngstown State and UNH. Sure, he missed a couple of long range field goals to allow Richmond to squeek into the title game, but Billy remains an incredible workhorse, one of the best clutch kickers in the country, and he contributes in so many ways to UNI team success!clenz wrote: You know about the Billy Hallgren haters?
They piss me off
Yet, despite his contributions, there remains a small, hard core group of UNI fans who criticize everything he does, and somehow think they can get a better kicker. I don't think so!

Dude, he's a kicker...think of Citdog, but with a sack on a viable team....native wrote:In Billy Hallgren, the Panthers enjoy the services of one of the elite kickers in the country. EKU and Indiana may be likely, but the Hoosiers have been showing signs of improvement

lol at Hallgren being clutch.
FWIW, Billy Hallgren had a TERRIBLE spring.
Decent kicker, not great, has been pretty average.
