But hey...some people think Toby Keith had talent and getting a ‘your a great American’ from Sean Hannity are cool too.... so god bless or something.

I didn't say anything about Trump. Those guys are ignorant assholes and they make conservatism look bad.93henfan wrote:Right on cue.JohnStOnge wrote:Good grief. I can't believe you guys think that is cool. Stereotypical stuff that makes conservatives look like a bunch of ignoramuses.
And the thing with the American flag. Anybody who thinks it's cool to physically attack somebody because they are burning the American flag has serious problems. That kind of thing is really bad.
You've lost your fucking mind. I kind of feel sorry for you that you're so obsessed with Trump that you've lost your sense of humor.
Who needs Manhattan? The orange man is living rent-free in your head.
Let's just focus on the American Flag thing: Do you think people should be free to do something like burn the flag or not? Do you think saying they should NOT be free to burn the flag is consistent with what this country is supposed to be about?

People should be free to burn the American flag. And if it upsets someone, they should be free to kick that person’s ass if they feel the need. Freedom. It’s a beautiful thing.JohnStOnge wrote:I didn't say anything about Trump. Those guys are ignorant assholes and they make conservatism look bad.93henfan wrote:

Yes. Your right to do what you want does not include a direct attack on another individual or an attack on the other individual's right to do what they want as long as THEY are not attacking another individual. One thing that always really gets me is seeing these so called "patriotic" people who think it's fine to throw somebody in jail or attack them because they are burning a cloth symbol. Just totally inconsistent with the idea of Liberty. It's not cute. It's not cool. It's not consistent with what this country is supposed to be about.kalm wrote:One is a violation of another person’s rights.AZGrizFan wrote:

The guys in those videos are jerks. They are exactly the kind of people we should not want having an influence on the direction of the country.

I mean it's quite an ugly flag. We should burn it just for the tackiness.

This is how it is done....and it has been very successful for Trump.Take one subject and through association......increase the net to entrap more of your enemies and increase your own popularity.....nice job.
You mean, like lefties calling anyone who supports what Trump has accomplished “racists, sexists, rapists, mysogynists, nazis, etc., etc.”?

I’ve always liked flags that incorporate the St Andrews Cross
Edit: In the Vietnamese language, they have a couple different words for the United States.
One is “nước Mỹ”, which means “beautiful country”. They use this one in place of United States of America.
The other one is “Hoa Kỳ”. It means “Flower Flag”. Literally, they mean that our flag is too busy with over-contrasted color

Who’s to say when one feels threatened? FEELING threatened, in and of itself, is enough to constitute assault in some states.kalm wrote:Yeah....AZGrizFan wrote:
