America is a failed state ruled by corporations.

We might be economically stronger, but I'd put us on par with Mexico in terms of democracy.

And we’re even trailing those bastions of political stability, Uruguay and Chile.

And on a par with fvcking Greece and Bulgaria. Greece hasn’t been a paragon of democracy since about the sixth century BC, and then only part of it.

You're angry because our political framework is stable and won't change on a whim. You're young, educated and I'm guessing have the financial resources to move. If you dislike the USA so much why do you stay? You might change it incrementally but you're not going to get the revolutionary change that you desire.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

So what are the differences in democracy between here and Mexico? Assuming they are less democratic, what are the causes?

He has hitched his buckboard already to several half-broke broncs in the name of playing devils advocate. I am starting to think he just likes to argue and missed his calling as a lawyer. :coffee:

Which horse? I asked Z an honest question and I’m genuinely curious to what he comes up with. But feel free to chime in you’d like as well. :thumb:

I would agree. Which makes me think I should buy stock in half-broke horses as you seem to need so many of them. :coffee:

Feel free to mail the letter to my lawyers at the firm of Dewey, Cheatem, & Howe.

Hmmm...not sure where I’m defending Trip. :? He doesn’t really need it, hyperbolic “failed state” comment aside. But even that is defensible from a democratic standpoint.

Well, the Electoral College thing is clearly a flaw. Bad idea for today's world.
