Buttigeg could win the white donk primary vote, but he won’t win the nomination. Blacks aren’t going to support a fag. Neither are hispanics. Not in large enough #s to win the nomination. Dems the facts.

Chuck Todd caught on hot mic: "What a f*cking disaster."

Pretty much sums up the night, the Iowa DNC, and the reason caucuses suck.

This is a perfect example of how you don't run a primary.

The best news of tonight is Iowa will no longer be first after the Iowa DNC fucked it all up again.

Also proves that you shouldn't let Democrats run anything.

Updated Results:
1. Sanders
2. Warren
3. Buttigieg
4. Klobuchar
5. Biden

edit: to be clear, not final results. Looks like the app used to send the precinct results to HQ crashed, or at least that's the supposed reason for the delay.

At the caucuses candidates for other state and local offices or their surrogates often get a chance to speak. Hearing that Steve King's main primary opponent had lots of surrogates speaking on his behalf tonight. Hopefully that means we will be rid of Steve King next year.

Three different sources say a firm called "Shadow" developed the Iowa Dem caucus app. They haven't responded to comment, neither has Iowa Dem Party. The firm was paid by both Nevada & Iowa Democratic Party, disclosures show. Also by Mayor Pete's campaign.

Thanks Kalm! I hate it when some know-it-all living in the bubble that is DC and purporting to be a proponent of democracy criticizes the way they do democracy in the flyover states. I guess Trip only believes in democracy when it's convenient and supports his cause and he's fine with demeaning or undermining it if it furthers his cause. He's just an authoritarian democrat.

Iowa Dems can run it however they want. Doesn't make it any less of a dumb system, and fundamentally wrong for a working democracy.

There's a reason nearly all states and territories have abandoned it, unless the "know-it-all" DC bubble also extends to every state surrounding Iowa too.

Why would you have this slow, archaic, attention-whoring caucus process and then trust the tabulation process to some budget app that you had whipped up over the winter in some kid's basement bedroom?

Does it ever seem to anyone else that sometime in like 2000 or so, we made a detour into a parallel universe?

I want to go back! I'm tired of all the crazy bullshit in this one.

I see #mayorcheat is trending. He’s declaring victory when his own internal polling numbers have Bernie winning. Plus, he’s tied to the company that created the caucus app.

Oh...same numbers show Biden in 4th and Morning Joe is saying he has zero ground game in Nevada and Michigan and is running out of money.

Gonna be a fun primary!

Dig deep enough into the festering cow pie that is the Iowa caucuses, and you’ll find a Russian.

Or at least a Ukrainian.

Of my friends' parents and older coworkers, I've yet to meet a Biden supporter (most support Buttigieg). And even though Super Tuesday is still a ways away, when I first donated to the Sanders campaign (which wasn't a significant amount), volunteers showed up at my door a few weeks later to personally thank me. They didn't even ask for more money...just a thank you for donating.
