Not new wall, that little dirt curb adjacent to the construction road was/is the old one. :coffee:

.Meanwhile, the largest tunnel ever was discovered a few weeks back under the most fortified and heavily patrolled section of wall between Tijuana and Otay Mesa.

Let's face it: the wall is a campaign issue; not a deterrent. We've all known that all along though, at least I hope.

I told my wife just yesterday that there is indeed SOME new barrier being built now. But it comes after a couple of years in which Trump kept insisting that it was happening when it wasn't.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

I like seeing the left complaining about spending money on this because it “won’t work”.

Analjelly, they could put two fences 100 yards apart, landmine the space between them, and put guard posts every hundred yards and it still wouldn’t be 100% successful. That doesn’t mean the wall doesn’t work.

But you already knew that.

P.s.: and the wall in the 2nd one is nothing like the wall they’re building now. Proves to me you didn’t watch the video at all. Not surprising.

Notice the border patrol showing up in the first video.

2nd video is of old style fence.

I guess like most things, we can disagree on what's new. Replacing existing walls/barriers with some new and better. Sure. That's what Trump has done and what was needed to be done. Even Democrats agree that replacement and repairs were needed. I think that's the rub. Democrats wanted surveillance. Republicans just wanted a wall.

Building net new miles of wall where none existed. That's something different.

I just hope Mexico is happy with what they've paid for.

Said it once, and I'll say it again. America doesn't have the stomach for it, but I could secure the border with Marine sentry posts placed at one mile intervals and fast response teams in reserve, one for every ten miles.

You'd have several thousand dead immigrants per year and no above ground crossings. Wouldn't play well with Amnesty International or at the UN, but the immigration problem would be solved immediately.

By year two when word had traveled, attempted crossings would be next to nil, so the body count would drop like a rock.

We already have a successful example of a border. Look at the Korean DMZ.

Hey wait for it........

WELL DUH

But good luck doing diplomacy with half the Presidential administration on Interpol holds and visa bans in the EU

Actually, maybe not

The French and the Germans are vassal states when it comes to NATO so it would be high entertainment seeing them justify the issuance of A1 visas to our people after we machine gun half a million on the southern border

Literally it could lead to anarchy in the EU

Enforcing the law isn't murder. You just need to put up the proper signage en espanol. :coffee:

The Germans didn't put up signs. They should have covered their asses. I'm guessing they didn't have any good Jewish lawyers to advise them.

Bring all the troops home from Europe and put them on the border. Probably wouldn't even have to shoot anybody crossing. No additional cost because we already pay them. Boon to the US economy because 65,000 GIs now spending money in the US instead of in Europe.
