You don’t need a step stool. I already said my pecker is out, Gyrene

Sorry if this was already posted but “40-70% of the world’s population likely to be infected”? Another estimate of 2/3’s and another says at the current rate of 2.5 60-80%?

Still much research to be done, but the fact that some people show mild symptoms - or none at all - makes thing thing quite amazing. That and the fact that it's highly contagious. You or I could have it right now and never know, yet the next person dies.

Not sure if any virus has ever acted like that before.

Doesn't that largely happen with most contagions over enough time? If we didn't have widespread exposure wouldn't we eventually have something like the Native American disaster with an isolated population set being completely unprepared for and in danger of extinction from contagions they never had exposures to?

I think they become less deadly over time, but not so wildly asymptomatic and symptomatic at the same time...to the point some people have no idea they have it while others are dying. But I don't know, there may be other viruses like that. The rhinovirus is the closest I can think of in terms of the variety of symptoms, but it's rarely deadly.

Never could be accurate. They're some posters on here who would go as far to put it in a will to deny on these boards they died of coronavirus just to mess up the poll.

Plus it is not like any of us are going to make it into an AP news article. :coffee:

This is a key moment for President Trump tonight at 6:00pm when he addresses the Nation in regards to the Corona Virus. The only way that he hurts himself is if he tries to dismiss this. All he has to do is to tell the American people that prior to this our economy was full steam ahead....and it will be again eventually. Short term there might be some pain, but he needs to LEAD on this and not try to sugarcoat because if the virus does impact the U.S. directly and people start dying and he buried his head in the sand to try and save face on the economy.....it could be bad news for him in November.

Humans are fascinated by catastrophes. In some ways the more we fear something, the more we are fascinated by it.

Just callin 'em as I see 'em. :thumb: There is absolutely NO reason for President Trump to cover up anything associated with the Corona Virus. Every American knows that he didn't start it! He can comfort people and let them know that the government will be there to help manage this public health emergency......but for the love of God, Mr. President.......DO NOT FREAK OUT and lie, hide, sugarcoat, etc on this one thing!!! I do not want Bernie Sanders to be our next President! :x :ohno:
