Well duh! Comcast and friends didn't slow the internet down. Now we know that they're not greedy, government-protected monopolies whose only interest is profits. There is no way they're playing the long con. We can trust them now.

But also when the Chairman of the FCC uses Ookla as a way to prove overall internet speed tests to defend killing Net Neutrality
We have a MAJOR problem on our hands

Firstly
1) Comcast or any other ISP can packet tag any and all link requests to Ookla and give it unlimited speed to that link
That is the VERY DEFINITION of NET Neutrality - there isn't any neutrality - so they can custom design speed and access however they fucking like

The The FCC Chairman using that as an example is terrifying
he either does not understand how Net Neutrality works
or is actively being paid / bribed to mislead consumers

They way you test internet speeds is not by identifying links like "Speed test" or "Netflix" and seeing how fast they are
Comcast has already been busted dozens of times throttling specific domains - its what they fucking do

Secondly
2)Net Neutrality was never about internet "speed" in a general sense - it was never about that
Net Neutrality is about allowing the internet to be an unrestricted platform for open competition

there's so much more... but nobody cares
