Also research is showing ages 0-20 show no to little symptoms and so far, only 2% of the infected fall in that age range. That % is of course people actually tested for the virus. It may be higher since they show few symptoms, and could still be spreading the virus.

Your own eyes are biased. The media never said there was "Russia collusion." They simply reported on what was going on during the investigation. Also, the Mueller report clearly indicated that it did not look at the question of "collusion" generally. It said they looked at whether or not there was cooperation between the Trump campaign and the Russian government with respect to two specific Russian government efforts. Meanwhile it said the Trump campaign director shared polling data on key midwestern states with a guy associated with Russian intelligence but said they couldn't say that was the kind of cooperation they were looking for because they don't know what was done with the polling data.

I can't see how you think the media's handling of the Smollett case was false. The totality of the situation has been pretty widely reportd.

It's not that there are never any errors by the media. It's that they try to adhere to certain standards and correct their errors when they make them. The "fake news" problem right now isn't with the mainstream media. It's with the "conservative" media.
