There is absolutely zero causal relationship between the religious right being his allies and his actions in the runup to the pandemic. Zip. Zero. Nada.

More clickbait bullshit from the batshit crazy left.
If you say so...lol That is why he is taking advice from the "MyPillow" guy.

One of these days you will look back and wonder "Why the Hell was I so blind to Trump"?
Part of the problem is too when folks like you who are so opposed to anything Trump confuse what's really the matter with the non-stop barrage of anything and everything that's wrong with Trump. It's always been the flaw of the Resistance as well - the lack of focus. Trump is a buffoon and an undisciplined narcissist, but the opposition to him has been so scatter-shot that in the end, he's actually made stronger by it. Are there religious nuts out there? Absolutely. Do some have the ear of the President? Absolutely. Does any of it have any impact on Trump's response to the Covid-19 pandemic we're currently in and our response to it? Possibly, but it's so miniscule versus other things that it doesn't matter. Stay focused on the things that matter - the messages from the medical experts coming forth, the readiness initially and the efforts now to ensure medical equipment of all kinds is manufactured and at the ready where needed, and how this country finds its way out of the disaster. That's what matters.

We should put in a request to change that word - my spelling is far more sensical - I mean, it has "mini" right in it my way. English is flexible, we should be able to do this. :thumb:

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

$6.93 to the poster who finds a one-word adverb that means what people who incorrectly use “hopefully” intend it to mean.

Very dangerous.

What do you think of the actual message in Ganny's post?
meh...
You could say the same about Hilary's detractors or any controversial public figure
The force against them is usually equal and opposite the force behind them - as the universe demands

But interesting to note:
Every time Ganny posts anything other than "Trump only cares about what people think of him..." he's contradicting himself

Nonsense, you're missing the point (which, considering it's not related to broadband is not terribly surprising with you). Trump is a buffoon and a narcissist. That should be pretty simple to comprehend and to message. However, his biggest detractors can't stay on message - something to do for sure with the frothing at the mouth. As a result, they'll swing from one exasperation to another - in this thread dback is adamant that the evangelicals around Trump are guiding his every message and it's religious fervor that is killing us, when that's patent nonsense. And when it's clear that it's patent nonsense, the force of the criticism of Trump gets less and less. To put it simply, it's the boy who cried wolf. Trump isn't evil and malicious in everything he says or does or touches - he's just a bad leader. Stay on message, focus on that, and the effectiveness of the Resistance would be far better and much more likely to replace him. As it is, the hysterics from that camp have made him more entrenched, have led to a senile almost 80-year being the heir apparent leader of the Democratic party and not even a sure thing to beat Trump in November, and are likely to lead to even more exasperating hysterics as time goes on. Is that simple enough for you? Or should I just compare him to Comcast so you understand better?

Well, you should always see both sides of the issue, not sure why you think we shouldn't. And then you move on from there. It's nuanced, so you may have to work a little bit at it, but I have faith that you can think your way through this. Hang in there.

Yes you should and I do. Every time. The joke was you have a tendency to defend both sides of many issues. It’s a shortcoming of rugged centrism. Most of the time it’s fine but sometimes (like in the example of Trump shooting someone on 5th Avenue presented here) not necessary.

Hope this helps.

Nah, that's the myopic view of the committed partisans who want to pooh-pooh anything that falls short of fevered vitriol that they want directed at their opposite side on a 24/7 basis (or even more frequently if they can get around those pesky laws of physics). I don't defend both sides of many issues, that would be political paralysis. What I do do is defend a side on a particular issue and then, on another issue, defend whatever side makes the most sense on that issue regardless of which side I defended on the previous issue. It drives partisans insane, but I'd argue they were already that way before they took notice of my or other centrist's nuanced and rational approach to life. :coffee:

Contrarianism (which btw, I’m guilty of too) is fun sometimes but also can lead to a lack of reason. Relax, I was just taking a playful shot at you and ‘88. I appreciate your thoughts most of the time.

The "center" is just what other people call it. And really, it's just the average of where I end up after aggregating all my different positions. But very few of my individual positions are "center". Sometimes I'm left and sometimes I'm right, but I like to think I'm mostly correct. :thumb:

My brotha.
I know I'm wrong a lot though. That's the benefit of being married, you literally get a tally at the end of the day of all the times you were wrong. It's like Monday film session in the NFL and I'm the Bengals.

The "center" is just what other people call it. And really, it's just the average of where I end up after aggregating all my different positions. But very few of my individual positions are "center". Sometimes I'm left and sometimes I'm right, but I like to think I'm mostly correct. :thumb:
My brotha.
