Don't give one sh*t about "love." Otherwise I wouldn't be on a conservative political forum.

Y'all should try it out somewhere that's not a safe space for your views. Maybe they'll threaten to murder you too. :coffee:
Which conservative political forum are you on? This forum isn't conservative. I am fiscally conservative and believe in personal freedom and responsibility but I'm mostly socially liberal. This site has its conservatives (89, BDK, Alphie, etc.), moderates (me, Ganny, Ibanez, etc.) and liberals (you, Jon, Geoffrey, Houndie, etc.). You think that anyone to the right of you is conservative. One of the great things about this board is the differences of opinion. It's not a couple of overlapping echo chambers where posters are screaming their opinions, calling the other side morons but not really listening to what they're saying. Kalm and I disagree on many things but I respect his opinion and read his and others' posts with an open mind. Can you say the same? A true liberal has an open mind.

I never threatened to murder you or anyone. I simply stated that I would take up arms in opposition (i.e. defense) to any attempt (i.e. attack) to establish a police state, eliminate the private sector or implement socialism. I will defend our system and our way of life, imperfect as it may be, because I strongly believe that it is significantly better than the alternative being offered. Self defense is not murder and any resulting deaths could have been avoided by simply not attacking. Responsibility for the deaths lies with the attacker. I honestly hope and don't think it will come to that in my lifetime. Think about it - you are willing to burn down the entire system to get what you want but want to pin responsibility for any violence that may result on the people who are defending what they hold dear.

Oh shut the fuck up, Trip. Are you telling me that if the shit hit the fan and you had to defend yourself, that you wouldn't kill if you have to? Get out of here with that bullshit. :tothehand: That is what Bobby is saying.
A society changing its laws or cultural thinking to be more "socialist" is not something you go kill people over just because you don't like it. I'm not sitting here threatening everyone because I disagree with your views or the dumb (sometimes wicked) policies y'all support.

What a bunch of snowflakes we have on this website.
That is the 2nd time you have responded without reading the posts. Do yourself a favor: read and then comprehend. You don't understand what you're reading.

Malaysia was getting it....

CNN)The Malaysian government was forced to apologize after its Women's Development Department published a series of sexist "tips" to help deal with the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, including advising women to continue to wear makeup and to "avoid nagging."

This virus can be quick, a 51 year old woman in South Dakota dies, less than 6 hours after calling for help.

Argus Leader link

The relatively healthy 51-year-old told her husband she had trouble breathing just before 8 p.m. on Friday and needed emergency care.

Quint, 51, helped her change into slippers, walk down the stairs and help her into their car. Two of their children watched as they drove away, and he called the emergency room to warn them that they potentially had COVID-19 exposure.

As he met a nurse dressed in personal protective equipment in the ambulance bay, she commented on Mari’s discolored lips before rushing her inside. That was the last time he saw his wife.

Despite being intubated, put on a ventilator and health workers performing CPR for over an hour, Mari died at 2:55 a.m. on Saturday after being airlifted from Huron to the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls — less than six hours after calling for help.

Mari’s aunt and uncle, Rep. Bob Glanzer, tested positive for COVID-19 in mid-March. The legislator’s wife was recovering from breast cancer treatment as her sister, Mari’s mother, visited her at home. Mari’s mother later tested positive for the virus, but Mari did not test positive for the virus until after her death.

Yeah, that's the scary part about it - you've heard tons of stories about some people succumbing to it really quickly versus some people basically not being impacted by it at all despite being infected.

Not to nitpick, but why set up medical tents on grass at the bottom of a hill?
That's gonna be a freaking mess in no time.

Hey, on the bright side, China is getting around to the banning of killing dogs and cats for food, as well as cracking down on the wild animal food markets that caused this whole virus thing in the first place. A little too late for the current worldwide pandemic, but hey, what can you do?

Truth be told, that is the truth that needs to be told over and over on this. It's a shame that people have such an aversion to all things Trump that they'll even turn away from the truth on the rare occasions that Trump utters a truth - but China needs to continue to be spotlighted for first allowing this virus to take hold in their own country, and then to be as irresponsible as they were to allow it to escalate into the pandemic that it did. Once it went global thousands were going to die no matter what other countries did, and until we get a vaccine, plenty more will die as well. It didn't have to be like this but that's what you get with the state of where China is at this moment. Anyone carrying their water right now should be called out for it.

They are a one party system

As much as Clitz and the peanut gallery like to claim they are not communist... in that one respect they ARE

And they will maintain the facade of benevolent control at all costs... to include lying about everything all the time

Until reality forces them to admit the truth... that it really is a bad human to human virus

(Introduced by the Western pigs, of course)

Lemme tell you guys some stories one day about how the everyday average Chinese are treating Westerners on the streets these days... especially “dark” Westerners

Those paradisians have some special N words.... to go along with those concentration camp that Treep think exist on the Mexican border

And it will be more of a focus if this continues to be a largely NY thing. There's been upticks in the Detroit, Chicago, and New Orleans areas, but you have lots of other areas you thought could be hotspots (Philly, Boston, LA, Miami for instance) that luckily haven't become that so far. I have a neighbor who's a nurse practitioner or some nurse management type at Jefferson in Philly and she keeps saying they're prepped and prepared but haven't seen a surge yet. Hoping that continues. No place is like NYC in terms of population density, so that could be significant.
