The botched COVID models can now be used to beat over the heads of the global warming community to show that if you can't compare their model with real data, it's worthless.

Maybe by the end of this whole fucking debacle the world will actually understand the difference between “exponential” and “increasing”.

Botched? Are you serious? These fucking alarmists got EXACTLY what they wanted out of their models....How else do you tie politicians hands without a dire “2+ Million Americans are going to die!!!” Prediction? That backs them into a corner and makes them do shit they otherwise would not do....like shut down the country...

Its made Montana almost livable again, too bad its short term.

Deflecting or avoiding the question will be recorded as an answer of Yes.

Thank you for your input and confirming that Mark Cuban is a significantly better businessman, leader, and professional sports franchise owner than Donald Trump.
Go ahead and think I confirmed anything if it makes you feel better..
That's true. So answer the question, please.

A simple yes or no will suffice.

No. What you said about Cuban could be true, but doesn't mean the US would have accomplished what was accomplished under Trump (the list has been posted on here before). Sure Cuban might have been more presidential, without the tweets and buffonery, but he wouldn't have pursued the same policies, nominated the same judges, appointed same people, etc. Here's a guy who says someone paying more taxes is the most patriotic thing someone can do :suspicious: I like the things that have been accomplished under Trump.

Both sides are tripping over their dicks on Covid-19 and Climate Change. The models and science aren't perfect but we would be foolish to dismiss them out of hand. We would also be foolish to let China (and India for Climate Change) off the hook. It's time to work together and be practical no partisan and hysterical.

ALso, you don't know what would've happened under a Cuban or a Clinton Presidency. you didn't know what would happen under a Trump presidency in 2016.

I know YOU didn't a question. The OP asked "Did we elect the wrong millionaire in 2016?" (actually billionaire).
You answered yes.
I answered no.

Also you don't know what would have happened under a Cuban presidency. Being a self made billionaire doesn't mean someone would make a good POTUS. No one knows exactly what will happen under any hypothetical presidency of someone who isn't elected president. You go off their track record, voting record, what they say during the primary and campaign, what their campaign platform says, character, etc.

No one knew exactly what would have happened under a crooked Clinton presidency, but we had a decent idea based on her track record;
-votes in the Senate.
-tenure as SOS.
-statements and actions on record over close to a quarter century.
-what she said during 2 primaries (vs Obama 08' and Sanders 16'), and during the 2016 general.
-Campaign platform.
etc.

Some of that is true. Being a legacy billionaire doesn't make you a good one either.
And how awesome that you bring up character. You saw a man that boasted about sexually assaulting women, known to screw over small businesses, an adulterer that mocks the handicapped and POWS and dodged military service and you thought _ Hey..that's the guy that'll get the job done. :ohno: :ohno:

You did have a 3rd choice. This idea about wasting a vote on 3rd parties is a self filling prophecy. If you don't start voting for 3rd parties and helping them make serious gains in elections, how the hell do you expect things to change?
