The Founders were extremists...to the British. They were flawed by today’s standards but also thoughtful in their ideals and set up a great system. We don’t utilize it in some of the ways it was intended like changing the constitution. It’s become a conservative crutch for certain issues.

Thomas Jefferson was considered "insane" by some and radical by everybody else
