Well he does have a program on Russia Today that he has been hosting I think since 2017.

Partisan lickspittle. Now that's original. Good.
Wrong, don't believe that, but most of his mistakes (90+%) have come from what he's said, or twittered.
Ignoring what he's said or twittered, looking at what he or his admin has actually done or not done, some mistakes. Off the top off my head:
-2017 waiting too long to fire Obama holdovers and leakers, esp from the WH.
-2017 rollout of visa ban to a handful of Muslim countries was bungled.
-2017 not having a plan to replace repealing Obamacare.
-2017 maybe on not taking an offer of wall funding in exchange for DACA amnesty, so wouldn't have had 2018 Mexican standoff/shutdown, Trump loss, Pelosi win.
-Too much spending/lack of fiscal conservatism in general.
-Some appointments/firings- Bolton as NSA tops the list.
Sure could come up with more. Some stuff remains to be seen. List of accomplishments is longer than list of mistakes though.
Proud deplorable Ultra MAGA fascist NAZI trash clinging to my guns and religion (and whatever else I’ve been labeled by Obama/Clinton/Biden/Harris).

That is fantastic! Especially with all the idiots these days sharing covers of folks singing that song without realizing what it's about.

Is it permissible to knowingly post the same meme in two threads?

A hippie atheistic utopia with no borders. If you're an atheist, the song should be revered. But I've seen tons of church going folks post that song without even thinking.

A religious person could define the song imagine as a starting point to build on
I don't think it excludes a religious person from applying it to their respective view of the world
You could take it as more of a zen observation of clearing the mind of preconceived ideas
or you could take it literally verbatim as some kind of atheist mantra
but John Lennon wasn't an atheist- he believed in reincarnation - and that requires some kind of God

We will have to disagree. Lennon WAS an atheist. Wasn't always one, but it's something that Yoko apparently struggled with. His song is 100% about NO religion.Chizzang wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:59 pmA religious person could define the song imagine as a starting point to build on

So I can chalk you up to the crowd that thinks the song has a nice tune but ignores the meaning.

https://www.biography.com/news/john-len ... song-facts
The impact of the song is unquestionable. But disguised within its message of peace and love and its flowing piano melody is a collection of edgy, "dangerous" ideas that challenge society as we know it. The song that has become an anthem all over the world is actually full of controversial lyrics and radical ideas. Lennon once called it "’Working Class Hero’ for conservatives,” and indeed, it challenges the status quo at its most fundamental.
Critics had issues with the meaning behind the lyrics
It's this that seems ironic, given the lyrics: “Imagine there's no countries / It isn’t hard to do / Nothing to kill or die for...” The song has been accepted all over the world as a song of peace and unity, as it asks us to embrace what some call anarchy and early critics labeled communism.
Again, if you're not religious or don't believe in countries, this song is for you. If you do, you can still like the tune and what you think is the message, but you're a dolt for holding it up as something you'd stand behind. Sorry it's too complex for you kalm.Feelings of peace and acceptance are swirled around lyrics suggesting we abolish some of the things people hold most dear. Even those who claim to accept the message struggle with its meaning.
