NFL 2020 Season
Re: NFL 2020 Season
This is the same front office that drafted a 26 year old CFL bust who was employed as a fireman IN THE FIRST FUCKING ROUND.
The Eagles are legendary at squandering the first round.
I actually don't even know why I tune in on Thursdays. It can't be good for my health.

Anybody have thoughts on the Raiders? Are there still Raider fans?

My ex is from Alameda. I actually keep in contact with her brother, who is a yuge Raiders fan and still lives in the Bay area. They consider 49ers fans to be rich white faggots, so I think most are sticking with the Raiders. They know that the team left because California voters would rather spend millions to save the desert tortoise and ban straws than keep their beloved football team. They don't hold it against the Raiders. Many are keeping their season tickets, as it's only a cheap one-hour flight or an 8 hour drive away.grizzaholic wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:58 am Anybody have thoughts on the Raiders? That can't be. According to most of my friends and family, the ACC is a dominating force and the SEC is all hype.

They seem to think Clemson = ACC.

Why is it Californians' responsibility to build a football stadium for a Billionaire son... who could build it with his own money ?93henfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:03 amMy ex is from Alameda. Eh, free society. All up to the voters. If the voters want a football stadium then by all means they can ask for taxpayer money to build one. If they don't want a football stadium, then they don't need to pay for one. Just can't complain when the football team wants to move to a place that will build them a stadium.Chizzang wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:37 amWhy is it Californians' responsibility to build a football stadium for a Billionaire son... who could build it with his own money ?93henfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:03 am

Same goes for the billionaires. If they really want a stadium somewhere and the taxpayers won't pay, then it's up to the billionaire to pay for it if they are dead set on having it in a certain location. Otherwise they're free to follow the money.

St Paul voted against it, therefore, Target Field was built in Minneapolis. On the other-hand, they supported a new stadium for hockey with half of the stadium financed with a interest free loan, of which $15 Million was forgiven so the High School championships could be played there.93henfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:51 amNailed it.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:43 am

Re: NFL 2020 Season
Just looked at the results of the first round.
No FCS selections.
Already a bogus draft. The SEC/Big Ten/Pac12 all whomp. I even have questions about that one dude from Danny White University. I can't wait until next year so my Cowboys can take Kevin Thomson #1....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Ok smart people. Tee Higgins 6'4" Clemson WR
Is he any good? Will he help the Bengals? Should the Bengals have picked up an OL with the amount of WR's in this draft?

Damn, Dallas drafts well. Trevon Diggs immediately shores up their coverage. And of course they got a way better WR than the Eagles did.
Gotta figure they're clear favorites to win the NFC East.
