So it's ok to mock a POW - a man when given the opportunity to trade on his name and be released, declined - because you are too insecure to accept that someone disagrees with you and your positions?

Done of that matters because he is on record saying,

So yes, a man who didn't have the balls to fight, said he likes people who weren't captured. An insulting remark to make regardless if he's talking about 1 or 100000 POWs.

Btw, the comments made by his current sycophants are quite true
”.@SenJohnMcCain is an American hero & all POW’s deserve our nation’s highest debt of gratitude. @realDonaldTrump’s comments are disgraceful,” tweeted former Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

“As a fellow veteran I respect @SenJohnMcCain because he volunteered to serve his country. I cannot say the same about Mr. @realDonaldTrump,” Perry added. He then called in a statement for Trump to drop out of the race.
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a close friend of McCain’s, tweeted, “If there was ever any doubt that @realDonaldTrump should not be our commander in chief, this stupid statement should end all doubt.” He added: “At the heart of @realDonaldTrump statement is a lack of respect for those who have served - a disqualifying characteristic to be president.
I'm not sure how you can defend him.

Then again, you have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will not question him. Which is truly appalling.
I talk crap about vets all the time because I am one... especially when it is prudent to point out that the military is just a reflection of us - so it has its collections of douchebags, cunts, and lazy cunts who draw oxygen and a paycheck at no hazard to themselves, etc

But I will defend every one of them against some douchey asshole who never served - Trump had every right to dig into McCain all he wanted but he doesn’t get to dodge the cunt label for it

ESPECIALLY because he didn’t serve AND he didn’t serve in a period when Americans were dying overseas.

That's different than insulting a man who was caught by the enemy because he was caught by the enemy. If McCain has a policy or something that you on't agree with then go against that. But personal attacks on a mans character and military service, service in the same war which you dodged, is indefensible.

You need to check it again because you were wrong. If you want, I can show you how to average several numbers. For someone that calls himself "Mister Mensa" you should know that the avg can't be HIGHER than any number used to arrive at that average. For example, the avg of 3, 5, 6 and 7 can't be 7 or higher.

Other than Skelly's 100 page thread on the Russian Red Scare of 2016, I don't think I've ever seen a more obstinate poster repeatedly double down in the face of being proven wrong like Aho has down with his bungled average thing. Heck, even the other Mensa poster, OBSF, eventually stopped posting sometime after his 6.93 disaster. AHO is like a less intelligent JSO.

I think that’s a great thing.
What's not great about it is the impact it's had on the medical system in the US - we're laying off way too many medical workers because of the misguided and, as it turns out, unnecessary step to turn all the focus of the medical industry onto COVID. Outside of maybe NYC, we never should've had that hyper-focus on COVID at the expense of elective surgeries and other medical practicing. I think both the medical industry as well as millions of patients would've been in a better spot today had they been able to maintain treatment and seen their doctors through this rather than the one-size-fits-all lockdown that we stumbled into. Again, when we're laying off front-line medical personnel, in the midst of a pandemic, we've really screwed it up.

So yeah, other than that it's a great thing. :suspicious:

Ganny, be careful of criticizing decisions made a month or so ago based on what we know today. Most of these people will be brought back. Most elective surgeries will eventually take place. These aren't uneaten meals at restaurants that won't be made up.

Thank you, Flaggy. Pretty tough call to make on prioritizing who gets treated during a pandemic outbreak. Lots of finger pointing and armchair quarterbacking will continue for years yet you hear very few people blaming the virus itself.

It’s like blaming an FCS National Championship Game loss on one call when you still had 2:00 left on the clock and had a PAT blocked earlier in the game.

Btw, Hokkaido, Japan might be entering a 2nd wave and is heading back into shutdown for a month.

It will be interesting to see what happens when this hits countries with less medical infrastructure and social control in Africa and South America. Their data tracking won’t be as accurate but it might inform us back to whether our measures were worth it.

I saw my Dr during this pandemic. Virtual appointments are great and don't take a lot of time away from my work day. Also, my Dr is available thru medical messaging, And if something serious were to happen, the hospital has a division between COVID-19 patients and non-COVID-19 patients.

So my Dr's office called and they want me to do a virtual appointment and then come in after all this for my bloodwork. What's the point of a virtual well visit?

Any pains? No
Any issues out of the ordinary? No

OK, I guess we're done here. I'll bill your insurance for the visit.
