No, no we can't "stop" the spread. We can slow it and lessen the impact on health services...oh look, we did. No we can open thing back up with the proper protocols in place. How the narrative moved from "slow the spread/bend the curve" to outright "stopping" the spread is complete nonsense.

If only there were some sort of a happy medium where you could slow the spread, observe locations that closed late and reopened quickly, learn more about the true threat, and then smartly loosen restrictions based on knowledge and armed with better therapeutic counter measures.

Good catch, I meant the grocery bill. Instead of spending money on groceries, and multiple restaurants a week. We're saving a couple hundred by not eating out as much.

Plus think about how much $$ people are saving on booze (not you but people in general, especially millenials). Buying alcohol at the c-store, grocery store, liquor store, and drinking at home is A LOT less cheaper than bar tabs and the booze portion of restaurant tabs.
