Once in a while there's a police shooting of a black ruled a bad shoot, or what we just saw in GA. Yet the kneelers ignore the the dozens of black on black murders nationwide everyday (with dozens to hundreds more black on black shot & stabbed everyday but not killed), because it doesn't fit their narrative..Give me a break..

I agree with BDKKK on this one. LEOs and white's shooting blacks is a problem but black on black crime is the elephant in the room.

This issue was an opportunity that Obama was almost uniquely suited to take the lead on (kind of like Nixon and China) and make a difference but he chose to put too much focus on Trayvon, Ferguson, etc.. An honest assessment of black-on-black crime would have led to discussions about the reasons behind the problem (poverty, lack of hope, limited educational opportunities, cultural barriers, etc.). Minor improvements in those areas would save more lives than any gun ban.

That's just the surface of the damage that is done. If the police are demonized, people of color are less likely to come forward when they witness a black-on-black crime. That means that the perpetrator remains free and will likely commit more crimes against people of color. More black-on-black crimes means more black deaths, all because potential witnesses don't want to turn a criminal over to "the man."

There is enough bad sh!t going on in poor urban neighborhoods, having an adversarial relationship with the local police is short-sighted and foolish.

This is all hypothetical but I would guess that the safest urban neighborhoods are those where community leaders have positive relationships with the local precinct.
