Has this word lost all meaning these days? I saw a sign in front of the USPS calling the mail carriers "heroes".

"Heroes" lost its true meaning years ago. Hell, any "essential" workers were deemed heroes about 2 weeks into the shutdowns.

Yes. We've discussed this before. The word has lost all meaning and importance. Heroes now means anyone that does their job during a difficult time.

I am not a big fan of Subway probably because I ate there everyday for 2 weeks due to the fact that it was the only place to eat near our job site (even then it was a 5 mile drive). If you're ever in Cedar Falls, stop by Sub City. Man that started it moved to Iowa from New Jersey and opened it up while I was in school. They slice the meat/cheese fresh and build the sub while you watch. It was years after I graduated before I could even think about eating at a Subway.

My go to's at Jersey Mike's are the Original Italian or the Big Kahuna.
JJ's are served at work a bunch due to their delivery options, so 95% of the time I am eating them for free.
I will definitely swing by there next time I am down in the area.
