Down to the final three candidates for VPOTUS, heading into second ballot: Spike Cohen (who ran with Vermin), Ken Armstrong, and John Monds.

Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

I like her. She was my top choice, actually. She describes herself as “principled and practical.” I asked her a hard question about entitlement reform during her Zoom interview with the DE delegation a couple weeks ago, and she answered it well.

Down to Cohen vs. Monds for Veep after two rounds. So we’ll have either a black man or a man of Jewish heritage.

Jo is definitely the best of the lot.

If you don't mind, what was the basics of her response?

As to Social Security, her views are comparable to the Cato Institute’s plan of allowing participant opt-outs in favor of private investment of a substantial portion of payroll tax funds, and making sure that the system is handled on a pay-as-you go basis for those who remain within the system. Sort of a practical, gradualist approach that permits market forces to operate.

Thank you for correctly spelling Clempson. We also would have accepted, " Cow Tech" and "Husbandry College of South Carolina." :thumb:

How sad is it that we are about to have the worst, or second worst to 2016, election choice in modern times, and no third party will put a pimple on the ass of this election?

Sounds like a great opportunity for people that claim to want a third option to put up or shut up. :coffee:

My vote is up for grabs. Jill Stein is too old for me in my determination to vote for someone under the age of 70. Plus I hear she's a Russian bot. They're everywhere.

I wrote in Mayor Pete on my ballot for the upcoming PA primary. They only had Biden, Bernie, and Tulsi still on my mail-in ballot.

Right, Raul. We all know how 89 feels about third parties. He’ll leave his POTUS ballot blank and think he’s done his patriotic duty.

I voted Libertarian in ‘92 and the dude got 0.28% of the vote. I plan to vote for Jorgensen this year, with pride and a clear conscience. Trump and Biden can go fuck themselves.

I don't disagree. People complain about not having a third option but then they never vote for the third option that is there. They use the excuses, " He can't win" or something like that as if it matters. What matters is consistent voting and the creation of a trend where a 3rd party candidate is consistently in the hunt until you see them win, especially at the local/state level.

I can't in good conscience vote for Trump or Biden. So i'm left with either voting Libertarian, Write-In or not voting at all. :coffee:

For a smart guy, you still get this wrong every time. I have NEVER claimed to be making any kind of stance with a write in. 2016 was the first time I'd ever done that, but looks like it won't be the last. I also have nothing against third party candidates per se, I just haven't seen one that is worth anything more than any other crappy candidate with a R or D behind their name.

My problem in 2016 was folks who thought a vote for Johnson was a message sent.

Yup, 89, you’re just like Diogenes, holding that lantern and waiting for a candidate worthy of your vote.

Laugh it up, Fuzzball. All I was really saying was that there are one or two other threads out there about Democratic primaries. If you want to write in the Harvard version of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, that’s entirely up to you.
