George Floyd was killed after trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill, What are the reason's for the police contacts of each of the unarmed deaths. Poverty also has a lot to do with Blacks being in a higher poverty, higher crime area. 20% of the black population lives in poverty, While 8.7% of whites.

You are touching on something that frequently gets left out of police statistics - that is what demographics are the biggest consumers of police services -

Minorities and the poor consume around 70% of all police services. That is based on routine calls for service and 911.

I used to jokingly tell people that 95% people I arrested or investigated for a 5 year period were black. That was literally because my patrol precinct was in the Neck area of the Charleston peninsula where next to zero white people lived.

I remember one time I had a loud noise call in a Section 8 housing project called Bayside Manor late at night. Some dude was in the parking lot blasting his car stereo and the residents were calling in on him. I rolled up and asked him to switch it off. As I was talking to him, he asked me if “this is some kind of profiling”.. I told him that if he could point out a white guy for me in Bayside at 1230 am I’d be happy to go check him out. We both laughed
