What’s funny about the _____x lives matter stuff is that on its own, the phrase is fine.
But it’s a political response to an equality and rights movement in that it makes you somewhat of a troglodyte.

Going out of your way to reject what’s happening is a douchebag move. You have every right to do it but it says quite a bit about your thinking and sensitivities.CID1990 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:00 amPredictably cryptickalm wrote:

Well, yeah I guesskalm wrote:Going out of your way to reject what’s happening is a douchebag move. You have every right to do it but it says quite a bit about your thinking and sensitivities.
Is that better?
Ok coolkalm wrote:Another way to put it for you, CID is Clempson has a very good football coach who ain’t exactly a deep thinker.
I feel BLM is a solid slogan from a messaging standpoint. The BLM organization is another animal. Sometimes the two get confused in conversation.
I don’t disagree with this at all. Nothing is off limits. But to go out of your way to make a political point exposes your thinking a bit. And I’m not a fan of the BLM organized movement either.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:16 amI feel BLM is a solid slogan from a messaging standpoint. The BLM organization is another animal. So _______ Matters is now off limits. Too sensitive for some people to see anything else but Black Lives in the blank. Well it started with other great messaging like Got Milk?, Just Do It, and others where words are substituted. It's just what happens in today's culture. But Sweeney should have used better judgement and know that the "Matters" crowd are a different bunch.
Good to know that you were inside his head whenever he decided to wear the shirt.
Or Clempson has a very good football coach who lives and breathes football like many other college and professional football coaches. When something is the center of your universe, you can be tone-deaf to other perspectives.
No need to apologize. I wasn’t inside his head. It’s on the shirt.
Maybe they should go with XXX "Strong". That seems to be ok for now. Everybody and their fucking mother uses it.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:16 amI feel BLM is a solid slogan from a messaging standpoint. The BLM organization is another animal. Agreed. You’re mistaking me for truly caring rather than simply being amused.
So all those responses were from you not caring...got it.
I enjoy conversing with you, Baldy.
..peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard..
I have a really tough time with the bashing of the nuclear family. Kids need parents.CID1990 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:08 amWell, yeah I guesskalm wrote:

Until I read BLM’s manifesto of demands and realized its a racial cover for a purely Marxist movement
Have YOU read their platform? (No)
So I am fine with any and all ridicule of BLM
(while agree with the name)

Fortunately most people understand what's going on. Don't know how many understand that the only thing Trump had to do with it is his mishandling of the initial COVID-19 response so that we had to shut everything down to begin with.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 11:21 am US retail sales soar 17.7%, biggest monthly increase ever.

Easily beat the previous 6.7% record of October 2001 reported the Commerce Department on Tuesday and more than doubled the consensus forecast of 8%.
Biggest monthly employment gain EVER.
Biggest monthly retail sales gain EVER.
That's despite blue states govs doing their best to shackle the economy.
What US politician handled the COVID-19 response well?JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 3:14 pmFortunately most people understand what's going on. So it'll be like what they did with McCain.CID1990 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 4:15 pm Nothing is terribly surprising in Bolton’s book. It basically confirms that Trump is as much a retail politician as anybody else... everything he does is geared towards reelection, and he will say and do anything towards that end
It’s quite Swampy
What’s going to be fun is watching Bolton’s integrity meter spike with the left
