So I’m willing to bet that you haven’t been to a restaurant since social distancing measures were introduced.

Some of you guys seem to be scared of your own shadows.
Just talked to a friend who’s a nurse at Spokane’s largest hospital. A regional medical center that serves 4 states. She rotates in and out of the Covid unit. She’s now doing 15 hour shifts for 2-4 days then gets calls to fill in due to previous layoffs. Had to shut off her phone. She’s exhausted. Their ICU is now full thanks to overflow from Yakima.
I’m not so much scared of the virus although my wife is high risk. I’m disheartened by the selfish nature of people (including a few other friends in healthcare) who still insist on going out for beers and take unnecessary risks during a viral pandemic that is spread through socializing.
Call me Antisthenes.
This is considerably worse than the vast majority realize and we are quickly moving past the point of controlling it even if we can cut the IFR in half.
British Columbia isn't a state.

Seriously, I would think that cases from eastern Oregon would be sent to Boise not Spokane.
I try and physical distance (I'm boycotting the term "social distance") from non-family members all of the time and wear a mask when in indoor public spaces. People need to understand that this is a lot easier and more convenient than another shutdown which is what will happen if this blows up again.
When I was in Golden, CO a week and a half ago, they had closed all of the parking along their main street and restaurants were using the spaces for outdoor tables. There was no indoor seating. People were very polite and contentious, wearing masks when not eating.
