I don't understand this concern among conservatives about lying when they openly support a president that lies about everything - and mostly about things that are ego driven like the size of a crowd.

Well there's your answer. Not all lies are the same. Some have no effect. Some cover up wrongdoings that are in the interest of the people they are supposed to be serving/representing. While all lies matter, politicians have caused us to adjust the bar within those lies to a new "breaking point" level of tolerance.

Wait....so lying about stupid things are ok? If someone is going to lie about something so inconsequential as crowd size, don't you think they'll be more inclined to lie about something bigger. Facui lied to make sure front line med units had the most access to PPE and he was eviseracted by the Right (in media and on this website). Trump lies about the coronavirus, it's impact, the state of the economy, being asked to be on a magazine cover or throw out a pitch at a Yankee's game, etc... He said earlier month we have the lowest mortality rate - not true. He speaks and just lies.
