Re: Who Do You Prefer?
I'll make a bet for an attempted assassination on either President Biden or Vice President Harris (or -elect).
And I wouldn't call you out if the attempt was weak (ex. dude stands outside fence and shoots single bullet at WH).
It would have to be successful or something serious enough that it's in the news for days or weeks.
Obviously the bet is void if Trump wins.

Hedging too far for my liking. You'd find some obscure news source that covers a guy threatening something for a couple days and declare victory.
BUT, if you want to slightly alter my bet with Jelly to: Biden doesn't do four years because of health not related to an assassination, you're on.

Nah, 'cause no attempt is guaranteed.89Hen wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:06 am Hedging too far for my liking. You'd find some obscure news source that covers a guy threatening something for a couple days and declare victory.

I already said I won't call you out for any weak attempt. My example was more extreme than a threat and that wouldn't even qualify.
It'd have to be something serious.

So how would he not be in office then? He's going to leave office for an attempt?∞∞∞ wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:13 amNah, 'cause no attempt is guaranteed.89Hen wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:06 am Hedging too far for my liking. You're walking it back then. You said you wouldn't have taken my bet because you "can imagine a cultist assassinating Biden".

It's not impossible I guess, but Biden and Harris are probably safer than Obama ever was.

I find them interesting ...
Trump is crushing Biden
Trump and Pence are both edging out Harris
Pence / Biden is the closest of the four comparisons, shouldn't Pence be crushing Biden as well?
A number of people are disgusted with the options and just want to pee in somebody's butt.
They are what they are and the election results will be what they will be. The republic survived Dubya and Obama and it (and most people) will survive Trump. It will survive a Biden or a Trump win in November.

Biden won't be president for long IF elected. Jelly is the only one who thinks otherwise. Hell, even you don't think he's long for the office, albeit from a different perspective.

If Biden was leading Trump on it, you’d think it was The Most Scientific Poll Ever.

Re: Who Do You Prefer?
Is CS more moderate? Or is it that CS has more moderates or libertarians and the liberals and conservatives on CS are more rational than their counterparts on AGS? IMO, there is a lot less yelling past each other on CS.

Re: Who Do You Prefer?
Biden is a "moderate" with dementia. If Biden was mentally sound he'd probably be getting more run with the "moderate" crowd.
Plus there is the whole DNC letting donk run cities burn to the ground that people also have ingrained in the mind as well, so there's that.

Biden is getting the moderate vote if polling is correct.SDHornet wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 10:54 amBiden is a "moderate" with dementia. If Biden was mentally sound he'd probably be getting more run with the "moderate" crowd.

Point was: y'all are not moderates.
