Would it be any different if you had a 7 yr old kid wearing a Biden hat near the RNC convention? You think there'd be the same chance of that physically happening with Trump supporters towards a pro Biden kid & Mom?

I wouldn't do either. Do you think it was coincidence that she had her 7 y/o there with a Trump hat? Or was she trolling and using him as the bait?

While I agree with you on bringing your 7 yr old to a rally, this is exactly why Trump supporters don't identify in polling.

They do identify in polling. That thing about them not showing up in polls is another myth. Yes, there may be some very small percentage of them who don't identify in polling. But if it exists at all the effect is clearly very small.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 6:25 pmWhile I agree with you on bringing your 7 yr old to a rally, this is exactly why Trump supporters don't identify in polling.

Again: the Real Clear Politics average of polls had Hillary Clinton beating Trump by 3.3 percentage points. Her actual margin was 2.1 percentage points. That difference is well within the range of what one would expect due to random sampling error. The idea that there was this huge thing where Trump supporters did not identify as Trump supporters is ridiculous Clearly, at the least, the overwhelming majority of Trump supporters did identify as Trump supporters during polling for the 2016 election.

Using a minor child to advance a parent’s political agenda is child abuse, bruh.

Trip is similar to an evangelical Christian, he is certain that his cause is righteous and that any that oppose it are evil.
I don't like the idea of marching a child in a political parade/rally where they are unlikely to encounter people with opposite views but its not nearly as bad as taking a child to a location where they are extremely likely to encounter and possibly have an altercation with people with opposite views. Why would a parent put their child in harms way like that? In the hopes that some liberal would do something stupid that they could film?

Kind of like how evangelical Christians don't think that homosexuals are evil but that what they do is wrong?

This sucks. I MUST get my wife to agree to get a stand by natural gas operated generator that just switches on and runs the house. Every year I have to worry about whether tropical systems will knock power out for extended periods. Got a gasoline powered generator but that is a pain in the posterior. I'm sick and tired of having to worry about this crap every year.

We got one of those house generators about ten years ago. My only regret is that we didn’t do it 10 years sooner! Git ‘er done!JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 8:31 pm This sucks.
