Easy....it goes with the political books...right next to the occult section.Winterborn wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 6:30 amAnd Librarians everywhere now have to figure out if it goes in the Fiction or Non-fiction section.....

Yup, that sounds accurate.

Trumps book should also touch on his humility for a full comparison.

Truth - the battle between humility for Cuomo and Trump would be a contest of epic proportions. Not sure the microscope exists to measure at those low levels.

It turns out I did have it. After going to the doc for my regular checkup, months after this post, I have a resting heat rate of 100BPM and only 95% O2 saturation. Another test was given and I had antibodies. It seems the early tests were junk and not effective at spotting the virus.bobbythekidd wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2020 9:13 am False alarm boys. I only have the regular run of the mill flu and tree pollen allergies. Woo Hoo
Bobby (yeah, I said it), damn! Luckily your O2 stats are good (95-100 is normal). How are you feeling now?bobbythekidd wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 11:07 amIt turns out I did have it. The fear is this is my life now and I will die before my time would be up without being exposed. That determination is still unclear so I could be fine if this gets figured out. Doesn't matter to me. I've seen the elephant and don't want to be the 90yr old that can't walk or be able to recognize people I love. I don't want to die slowly in a room of a old folks home, getting shitty health care. I'd prefer to go out while I still enjoy life.
Moral of the story, get it if you want. Avoid it if you don't. I'm not concerned, but fwck whomever gives it to someone you care about.

The marches are scheduled to get numbers back up.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:06 pm Florida - down > 70%

California - Down Almost 50%

Louisiana - Down 75%
Honestly, at this point, why is ANY state in lockdown? If we’re going to allow Marches on Washington...If we’re going to make exceptions so all the Hollywood stars can attend the VMA’s...if we’re going to make exceptions so that famous people (or black criminals) can have great big hairy funerals...if we’re going to condone/incite protests and riots every night in every major city....why in the flying fuck is ANY business shut down or limiting their capacity at this point?

Because we’re still learning. It’s good that numbers are plateauing in many places but that doesnt mean we’re out of the woods. South Korea is seeing a new significant spike and Nevada is on fire.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:06 pm Florida - down > 70%

The problem is that the SAME people mandating masks and social distancing and limited capacity and shutting down businesses are the ones allowing marches, protests, riots, funerals, famous people parties, etc., etc. Why are we still listening to them? They obviously don’t even believe their own “rules”. They know they’re bullshit. Yet they look us in the eye sternly and scold us like school children.kalm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 5:02 amBecause we’re still learning. Then there’s Iowa where they just had a 75% positive test rate and 2600 new cases over a 24 hour period.
