Outside of Fox News, when have you seen an error that favored Trump?
The real Biden photo.

I wasn't there. Sometimes an error is just an honest mistake. We're so polarized that any error is an obvious attempt to be fake/nefarious/misleading. I could be overly idealistic but I don't think every error in the media is due to ill intent.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:46 pmOutside of Fox News, when have you seen an error that favored Trump?

You're making excuses for CBS? They are huge and they damn well know better. Why do you see media always being called out for using photos or video that wasn't depicting what they report on? Because they know the rules and this doesn't follow.Ibanez wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 5:24 amI wasn't there. Sometimes an error is just an honest mistake. Just like that picture you've posted - there's no caption or context. Maybe that was taken hours before or after the event. Maybe it's the next day and they haven't cleaned up yet.
One would think that an industry that is rapidly gaining such a poor reputation for truthfulness and unbiased reporting would go out of their way to ensure "mistakes" like this don't happen. It's just more fodder.....Ibanez wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 5:24 amI wasn't there. Sometimes an error is just an honest mistake. I'm not making excuses. People make mistakes - regardless of the size of the company. I'm just giving an alternative reality.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:02 amYou're making excuses for CBS? Maybe it's because CBS, who has been pushing the "peaceful protestors" angle didn't want to show how little support Biden has.
Why do the mistakes always go one way? Why didn't the reporters embedded with Biden take a better picture...because this was as lively as it got.
I'm just giving an alternative. Knowing the bias in our media, it was probably intentional. What a stupid mistake to make...KNOWING it can easily be fact-checked.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 8:22 amOne would think that an industry that is rapidly gaining such a poor reputation for truthfulness and unbiased reporting would go out of their way to ensure "mistakes" like this don't happen. And you know deep down, Mark, this was no mistake.![]()
