He's kind of like a combination of BDK in nitpicking the accuracy of a meme and 89 saying a meme isn't funny because of their own ideological opinions.

DuckDuckGo is a good search engine, just not as refined as Google but not having filtered results makes up for the lack of refinement.

As for the rest, don't have an account or don't watch and really don't care.


88 is partially right in that their popularity (outside of DuckDuckGo as this is the first time I have seen them lumped in with the rest) is due to the backlash of their censoring Trump. My thoughts are purely along the section 230 wording and if they are free as a company to keep their users in line with the company standards but then they are publishers IMHO. The push for an alternative to FB and Twitter has been there for awhile and Trump is more of a catalyst than anything. What will happen to them is going to be interesting here down the road. I don't think FB is going to go anywhere and will mostly stay the same as it is now as a company, but Twitter is in a interesting spot marketwise. One could argue that Trump made Twitter relevant just by being on it and he (and the people that follow him on both sides) are what has pushed their stock price up. Twitter's heavy hand just might be too heavy and if they do ban Trump after Biden is sworn in, it is going to be interesting to see what their stock price does.

Right now I would not be bullish for Twitter in the long run.
