I don't support abortions per se. I don't think that it should be a form of birth control. That being said....I also don't support government control of a woman's body....or anyone's body for that matter. As we've seen with COVID.....the government can make as many laws as they want but people are not going to obey in the end. We don't have enough abortion police or prisons to have complete control over abortions. The dumb and poor would suffer more financially and health wise. The smart and poor would end up getting abortions anyway.

So when people get ostracized for not taking these China Virus vaccines that will be government mandated (it's going to happen, bank it), you'll have an issue with it?

Yes, I will have an issue with it although if the vaccine works and only dumb Trimp supporters end up getting sick or dying...well I guess that is their choice.

Yes....where masks and distancing can’t be practiced. I will say however that it really p*ssed me off in the early days of COVID when the Walmarts and Home Depots were allowed to stay open but the little guys weren’t.

Agreed, we didn't do ourselves any favors when there was rank hypocrisy early on at all levels of government. Bad enough that Trump fell down on the job, but the vast majority of governors (red and blue) did as well as the local governments below them. A colossal failure of leadership in the US in 2020 at all levels. I have a hard time finding any that did a good job.

My kids are in school all 5 days (about 70%-80% of the district is in school 5 days a week) and they've traced almost every case of COVID to an out of school transmission. They have 25 students with active COVID cases right now (out of 4526 attending in school). And another 8 staff (don't know how many staff for the district, but one staff works out of the district office which isn't connected to any schools or to children). Far smaller spread than what we have in PA right now. Same trend we've seen in Europe, schools aren't a hotbed of COVID cases or transmissions, and are probably less than what happens out in most public places.

In that context is it something that comes from the "normal" population rather than as a result of a mutant strain? Or something like that. It has been a couple of years since I read a biology book.

I was clear early on. Once we established what the precautions were (wear masks, keep socially distanced, wash hands and clean surfaces) we should've let anybody open up who could and would follow those restrictions. In PA, we knew those restrictions by about early April, yet we told hairdressers and barbers that they couldn't operate their businesses until the end of June. We didn't learn anything new in the intervening two and a half months but yet leaders played games with what would open and what wouldn't as if they were really impacting things. Once they played games people noticed and people lost faith in the decisions being made, especially when things changed often with no semblance of reason. And if we were going to have government tell people they couldn't run their businesses then we needed to be ready with government money to cover their lost money. We kinda did that early on with the PPP stuff and other funds, but then the Dems decided it was beneficial to hold up any relief until after the election (didn't want to give Trump anything to call a success), and the GOP is happy to hold things up now if they think that will give them leverage when Biden comes aboard. Political games when we needed real leadership and we didn't get it.

Well, that's a leap. Not all sports are created equal. A local community league playing baseball is one thing, but you have 400 soccer teams flying from all over the country to play at a tournament in Arizona (hotels, restaurants, etc) is another thing. The spread of what constitutes youth sports is pretty wide.

Right it came from the school. He was contacted by the school thru contact tracing. He works remotely.
