I got injected a week ago tomorrow. First Moderna. Second scheduled for April 8. But read that Moderna has 92% efficacy after two weeks following the first shot. I have to do some interaction with other human beings as my wife's Mom passed away. Family visitation tomorrow night. General visitation and funeral Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday nights in a hotel in a relatively high risk Parish in Louisiana. And it'll only have been six days. I'll be as careful and distant as I can be.

Thankfully my wife had her first Moderna shot 20 days ago so she should have a pretty good chance of being protected.

I didn't realize the anti-vax crowd had any real political affiliation - they always seemed apolitical to me, a truly bipartisan coming together, unfortunately for a crappy reason.

And really, since Trump was claiming partial credit for getting three vaccines to market in such quick time, why would his sheep not want to get the vaccine before anyway? To hear him tell it it's almost his vaccine.

Less people and less demand I guess. It's kind of strange how the doses are allocated, but it doesn't seem proportional to the number of people in each county. And you're not limited to your county of residence, so I could go to T County as well. Work and other commitments have limited me to Buncombe so far though. I'm checking Walgreens regularly , and Ingles is jumping in. So hopefully it'll happen soon.
