That was an accurate report. They did show the scene where you could see the knife in the girl's hand. They had a crawler underneath saying "Police fatally shoot 16-year old Black girl holding a knife." They clearly reported that she had a knife. They showed the knife laying on the ground after the incident. The idea that they were trying to hide or underplay that fact is ridiculous.

Complete fake news by NBC. No other explanation other than NBC is trying to foment BLM protests and rioting. As noted, even ABC and CBS didn’t selectively edit like that.

You hold a knife when you're buttering your toast. If they were actually trying to be accurate, they would say (not put it on the crawler at the bottom of the screen) police shoot attacker attempting to stab someone.
