I'm picking SDSU, but rooting for Delaware.

FYI: Where did these times come from? The NCAA website still lists these games as TBA (as of 0849 MON 03 MAY).

The NCAA bracket has had the game times listed since last night around 1 AM EST:
https://www.ncaa.com/brackets/print/football/fcs/2021

The schools all had the game times listed early this morning as well. Just type into a search engine "(insert semi final team here) football schedule" (just 1 of the 4 schools would have done, as the game times & networks were already set, just not the teams). Not that hard..

Nice. I remember seeing that before the playoffs started, but couldn't find it this morning. The interactive bracket had those games listed as time/network TBA. FYI, the interactive bracket HAS been updated since my prior post.

-UD's 2nd week in a row on the road.
-a short week to boot.
-Their QB Henderson is banged up.

UD 88 yds rushing vs Sacred Heart, 108 vs JSU, and they are playing a far better (maybe far better) rushing defense in SDSU. If UD can't run the ball, they are screwed.

These lines are a little surprising to me- currently:
SDSU -7
JMU -1.5
https://www.bookmaker.eu/live-lines/football/ncaa(f)fcs

I'd have it more like:
-SDSU -10 (see above post).
-SHSU -4 (already discussed why on the JMU/SHSU thread).

Huh? We haven't run the ball all playoffs, and Henderson looked perfectly fine throwing the ball later in the game post the hit. UD just started playing close to the vest once the JSU QB went down. SDSU can be thrown on, I think the SIU game clearly showed that. I don't think UD's going to be any better running the ball than they did in the first two games (although UD does expect to get some linemen back who missed the first two games due to injury) - what will decide the game is how effective can UD be throwing the ball and what kind of success UD's defense has against SDSU's offense. If UD can keep playing the kind of defense they have so far this will be a close game at the end.

Not running the ball good has been good enough to beat SHU and JSU, but it won't be to beat SDSU. SIU, probably playing a tougher schedule (and I do think the MVFC is overrated) has a better offense, including passing, than UD (UD has the edge on defense).
Passing Offense
SIU 28th/239 ypg
UD 50th/200 ypg

Rushing Offense
SIU 16th/186 ypg
UD 33rd/161 ypg

The only team that was able to beat SDSU (UND in their dome) back in late Feb (the 2nd game for the true Fr SDSU QB) was able to run somewhat on SDSU (177 yds). The team that came the next closest to beating SDSU. YSU, 196 yds in a 19-17 loss. The next highest was SIU in the 120s both times. Lost 44-3 and 31-26. SIU threw for only 92 in the 1st meeting, 316 on Sun (the most against SDSU this season). The 2nd game was probably closer in part because its hard to be up for a rematch of a team you destroyed by 41..SDSU also has a better pass defense than JSU, who UD threw for 266 against. UD isn't going to throw for over 300 on SDSU, so I think UD will have to run the ball in the 150 ballpark to win.

Great stats, but they don't mean as much in this very peculiar year. Heck, you can't even take much from the JSU game - once the QB went down and UD was up 14-0 the game was essentially over - the remaining 2.5 quarters were like watching a four corners offense in college basketball prior to the shot clock.

Good thing the MVFC is over-rated, the Hens have a chance, even with their QB down. :o

Ha! Same here. Cut cable years ago, but I have a pretty nice antenna that picks up 35 channels here in the Seattle area. Of course 30 of those 35 channels suck.

It typically comes from SHSU and JSU fans ( two most annoying fan bases in FCS) until they get bounced.
