Yes it's deadly but it's also not nearly as deadly as people in power and the media have led many people (especially Democrats) to believe.kalm wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 3:28 pmSome of it is thin skinned scolds for sure. But last I looked, it’s still a deadly disease that could have killed considerably more and caused greater or longer duration lockdowns.UNI88 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 1:52 pm
Why? Because thin skinned scolds can't handle people disagreeing with them so they need/want to force them to do what they "know" is right? Fauci and his ilk with masks aren't so different from Trump with the BLM riots in Portland in that regard.
So what if people are going to lie or "be sensible". The vaccine is available, if they don't want to get it and don't want to wear masks, that's their decision. They have to face the consequences if they get sick.
If we'd had this approach to government 100's of years ago we never would have let people cross the Appalachians because it was too dangerous.
I’m all for freedom and less government too. It would be nice if people didn’t compromise their own community health in public or be ok with voluntarily staying at home so the rest of us who acted responsibly can get on with our lives.

I'm sorry but people doing their own thing is what freedom is about. I believe that freedom is valuable and worth the risks. If you don't you can change the system or move somewhere with less freedom and more security. Just be forewarned that I will fight tooth & nail against attempts to change our system to be less free.
