LeBron's been wanting Lillard to come to the Lakers for awhile, to the point where at the next free agency period, he just might say, "If Dame won't come play for me, I'll go to Portland and play for him".

Lebron is a shell of his former self. He'll need more than Lillard to win another ring.
"Ah fuck. You are right." KYJelly, 11/6/12

And the irony of that shirt is that Embiid got called for the foul on that one - apparently being pulled into a headlock is a foul on that person, not the one doing the headlock. Who knew?!?

Agreed - Lebron is going to need even more help than he's had in the past, and considering the amount of help he's had, that means it's certainly more than Lillard to win another one. If they can do another bubble season he might have a shot.

I didn't see the play, was Embid Draymonding Collins and undercutting him while he was in the air? I need an unbiased opinion from a non-Sixers fan.

He mostly got pulled under by the headlock, which happened first. Heck, I thought they might review the play for a flagrant foul on Collins since his off arm struck Embiid in the face initially. But as Embiid said, officiating in the series wasn't terribly consistent (not that NBA officiating is ever good, it's almost WWE quality out there at times).
This is one of those trades that could work out well for both teams. Simmons can fit next to Towns and he can be something of a point-forward for Minnesota. Both Russell and Beasley are solid 3-point shooters and they would be better fits next to a guy like Embiid who can have even more space with Simmons out of the picture.

Eh, don't know, haven't watched those two enough - what do you think?

Simmons would fit better than Russell, with the Timberwolves. I like Beasley better, good outside shot. Russell tends to shoot too often, or force the ball, but he can hit the 3. Neither is as good as Simmons, IMO.
The ESPN Trade Machine allows for a three-team trade with the San Antonio Spurs. DeMar DeRozan and Shake Milton will go to the Wizards, Bradley Beal to the 76ers, Ben Simmons and Gary Clark will go to the Spurs. At face value, the Spurs seem to be losing out on this one. But let’s take note that the DeRozan experiment didn’t really work amid improvements in the swingman’s performance.
Also, being under the helm of Gregg Popovich seems like the best situation for Simmons now. We all know about how the Spurs have developed seeming role players into stars. At this point, we can never confidently say that Simmons is a star and a franchise player. Popovich and his coaching staff might be able to unleash Simmons’ true potential.
The Wizards might be on the losing end of this one, as DeRozan will become an unrestricted free agent. The whole deal might include a sigh-and-trade with DeRozan. A hefty deal is out of the question, given that the four-time All-Star is already. Analysts believe he’s worth $10-12 million a year. This would allow the Wizards to get more key pieces from the free-agency market.
Sixers only get Beal for Simmons and Shake Milton, but I think Maxey is going to squeeze out Milton going forward anyway and Beal would work great with Embiid.
Here are six trade packages the 76ers should consider for the three-time All-Star.
1. Oklahoma City Thunder
Thunder acquire: Ben Simmons
76ers acquire: Kemba Walker, 2022 first-round pick (via Clippers)
...
2. Indiana Pacers
Pacers acquire: Ben Simmons
76ers acquire: Malcolm Brogdon, T.J. Warren
...
3. Portland Trail Blazers
Trail Blazers acquire: Ben Simmons
76ers acquire: CJ McCollum
...
4. Chicago Bulls
Bulls acquire: Ben Simmons, 2022 second-round pick
76ers acquire: Zach LaVine, Tomáš Satoranský
...
5. Golden State Warriors
Warriors acquire: Ben Simmons
76ers acquire: Andrew Wiggins, 2022 first-round pick, ’23 second-round pick
...
6. San Antonio Spurs
Spurs acquire: Ben Simmons
76ers acquire: DeMar DeRozan (sign and trade), Lonnie Walker IV, 2022 first-round pick
Simmons is not as good as DeRozan, LaVine, Brogdan or McCollum, so yes, the 76ers should take those trades if offered. IMO, I would take any of those 4 ahead of him. Even up for Walker or Wiggins, and in the Timberwolves case, Beasley. Simmons would be the fourth option in Minnesota, behind Towns, Russell and Edwards. He would be a better defender than what they have, and would be great on the breaks and as a 4th option. His main detriment is shooting and scoring. Beasley is a good 3pt shooter and can spread the court and open up space for Embid.
Per Dr. Jen Welter, the first female assistant coach in NFL history, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon is a finalist for the Portland Trailblazers HC position. This would make Hammon the first woman to make it this far in a HC search in one of the major men's sports.
I'm wondering if she'll take it, though. Hammon has already turned down an offer of the men's HC position at her alma mater, Colorado State. I think she's waiting for Gregg Popovich to retire so she can have move from Associate Head Coach to Head Coach at SA. Could Becky be tired of waiting, though? We'll see....
