I agree that it SHOULD matter, and I can’t explain why nobody with a conscience can get through the primary system. Maybe because we (as a group) have bought into the concept that if you disagree with me, you don’t have different perspective, you’re just WRONG. The “us vs them” mentality that is pounded into our heads from all sources. Tribalism, as Klam said.
