Five people to help EWU beat PSU

Post by JALMOND »

1. Granny and her "potions" to stymie the Vikings
2. Ellie Mae and her "critters" to distract the Vikings
3. Jethro and his "logic" to confuse the Vikings
4. Jed and his "money" to pay off the Vikings
and the honorary Beverly Hillbilly...
5. Black Falkin and his "diatrobes" to baffle the Vikings

All we'll really need:

1. Matt Nichols
2. Aaron Boyce
3. Brynsen Brown
4. Nathan Overbay
5. Taiwan Jones

Not to mention PSU isn't used to playing on real football fields, this will be a cakewalk.

Indeed we have. The first of the 3 was in 2006 after we graduated 14 starters and had a very young team. The last two have been by close margins.

We beat them the 3 years before that, so what?

Excuses, excuses, excuses.

Graduation hits everyone. Close margins show you can't close the deal when the game is on the line (last year was by 11 points...that is close???)

(sheesh). Just bring your "A" game on Halloween. I'm tired of these excuses :shake:

Graduation hits some teams harder than others. 14 starters, at least 3 of whom were All-Americans, one of whom was a Walter Payton award winner, yeah... that's going to affect a team.

If I remember right, PSU scored a TD right at the end after the turnover, making it look worse than it was. It was a 4 point game before that.

And don't worry, I'm sure Nichols will get the team pretty fired up and bring his "A" game. Now that our D has been shored up, it's your turn to be shredded like swiss cheese. I just hope you can swallow your pride enough to come back on CS or AGS and get your crow. :punch:
