I question this a bit '88. No conservative or libertarian that I know whines or denies that the climate is changing. The underlying point is that if MAGAts are supposed to just accept and deal with realities that they find uncomfortable (lost elections, changing societal norms, etc.) why shouldn't pseudo-progressives just accept and deal with realities that they find uncomfortable such as climate change?
It's just another example of a hypocritical double-standard (that both extremes are guilty of).
If carbon fuels create accelerated global warming the costs are shared by everyone. Socialized if you will. While the owners/investors and related benefitting industries enjoy the publicly subsidized profits.
Reality still upsets people, regardless. And reality can be both positive and negative.
