Long story short. The website I read ( The Conservative Treehouse) believes Durham will go after everyone close to Hillary, but none that are close to Obama.

The gist is Hillary and Obama hated each other, but Obama has entrenched more people.

Like I said years and hundreds of posts ago.. all one had to do was use a little common sense and a little critical curiosity and one could have avoided being manipulated by the Clinton campaign. But some people (like Jelly and JSO) are happy being manipulated.

As bad as Jan 6th was, and people trying to call it a coup attempt (which it may have been), history is not going to judge the coup attempt that started before Trump's election and many years into it any better. I don't like Trump a little bit, but what went on to try to smear him prior to the election, and then how government was used (by Obama as he left office, and by the Dems in the House) to basically try to effect a coup over several years, based on completely made up allegations, is one of the worst abuses of government we've ever seen. I don't think there's even been a less peaceful transfer of power than what we saw after the 2016 election, and in the several years that followed. And many of those people who perpetuated that Long Lie (maybe we can coin that term to go along with the Big Lie term?) are still in office today. At some point we need to get out of this cycle of just horrendous behavior by elected officials, but I'm not sure when that happens.

So, when Trump said at his press conference that Hillary started the whole birth certificate story and Trump ended it, he was right.

Blumenthal was behind that. He was also responsible for some of the classified shenanigans on Hillary’s email server, but not the most egregious examples (I remain convinced it was either Cheryl Mills or Abedin that scanned the TS//TK//REL TO USA, FVEY onto an email there)

The Obama admin expressly forbade Hillary from giving Blumenthal a position in the State Department because of his whisper campaign against Obama and they were right to do so - but he weaseled his way into DoS policymaking anyway
