FCS playoff history online

Post by JayJ79 »

Does anyone know of any place online that lists FCS/I-AA playoff info from past years?
Primarily looking for game scores for all rounds (as well as which team was hosting), and seeding info would be nice as well.

NCAA Record Book - Championships (PDF)

This is the 2007 edition. The 2008 version hasn't been released yet.

And there's FCSPreview:

Haven't seen anything with seeding though.

Not a neat bracket, but it denotes seeds, hosts, and scores. It goes from 1978-2005, so I'm guessing it's from when we were I-AA, but the last three shouldn't be too hard to find.

Thanks for the links guys.
Using some of the data from that NCAA document linked above, I compiled playoff participation by conference.
Actually two seperate figures: one using current conference affiliation (i.e. what conference the teams are now), and another using the conferences each school was in at the time of their playoff participation (or at least the conference affiliation that cfbdatawarehouse had listed for them at the time).

I can share the actual spreadsheet that breaks down the teams if someone wants it, though I'm guessing I'm the only one interested. haha. But anyway, here are the conference breakdowns:
