The Griz are coming off a big win and are the healthiest they've been (assuming nothing has gone wrong over the last 1.5 weeks) since the first meeting with EWU. The Eagles are 6-0 on the road this season, though, and their turnover margin is a bit better than UM's—mainly because the Griz have been rather turnover prone this season.

I'll take Eastern Washington 23-20

Or lose yardage 608-368, firsts downs 32-13, and TOP 35 to 24.

Obviously special teams and capitalizing on field position. You guys had 284 in total return yards.

Hard to rack up lots of offensive yards or first downs (or hold the ball a long time) when you have drives of 5, 8, 17, & 23 yards. Additionally, EWU got 2 TD’s and about 180 yards of their offense after they were down 50-24 with only 8 minutes left in the game, and Montana had gone to essentially a prevent defense with our 2’s and 3’s in the game.

Stats can be (and usually are) very, very deceptive.

Hauck has a little secret: his STs, esp. his kickers. I think most teams relegate their STs to 3rd position behind offense & defense, & it seems all the press write about is the O & D, giving little notice to STs.
