They do not put their personal pronouns on their dating profile?

Folks in my area are the biggest assholes anywhere... 70% libs. I can't tell you how many times I've waived to people, said hello, etc... and get absolutely NOTHING back. And this is even when I'm not wearing my MAGA cap.

Which proves the point that people are more than the sum of their political beliefs. Which is something that is increasingly lost amid the partisan warfare that is pushed by our media rags.

Everybody needs a token "insert opposite of yourself" friend.

Mine tried to set me up in a MMF threesome. :yikes:

Nah. We make lots of stereotypes about the other side of the political spectrum. Many are unfounded, but many are accurate. Who would you rather hang with or get stuck with... rednecks or academians?

Here's a good example Raul IMO. These are considered alt-right and alt-left folks by the other side in Poland. Which seems more reasonable, personable, likable....

This discussion sums up my neighbor perfectly. If you were to list who she was on a piece of paper, I'd steer clear of her, but we actually talk and get along very well.

This could be it's own thread but i'll start it here.
Today, Insider published the first of more than two-dozen articles and data visualizations that will reveal the:

48 members of Congress and 182 senior-level congressional staffers who have violated a federal conflicts-of-interest law.

Nearly 75 federal lawmakers who held stocks in COVID-19 vaccine makers Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, or Pfizer in 2020, with many of them buying or selling these stocks in the early weeks of the pandemic.

15 lawmakers tasked with shaping US defense policy that actively invest in military contractors.

More than a dozen environmentally-minded Democrats who invest in fossil fuel companies or other corporations with concerning environmental track records.

Members who regularly chide "the media" but personally pour their money into at least one of the nation's largest news media or social media companies, including Facebook, Twitter, Comcast, Disney, and the New York Times Co.

We all know politicians use their power and positions to financially benefit themselves and are hardly ever held accountable. I'll be interested to see what other conflicts our "betters" are engaged in.

I will have a beer with pretty much anyone. Whether or not I have the second one, can be debated but I always try to give people a chance. If nothing else it gives me the opportunity to practice lying and being evasive without coming across as not polite.

Who knows. I might want to run for office one day. 8-)
