JMU fans appear more confident than Bison fans, which makes sense. They have a better coach, better QB, better receivers, better dbacks. The only hope for the Bison, is for the defense to get to the QB and make him hurry his passes. Otherwise, it will be difficult to stop "The Dynasty".

That's the JMU mentality. The most important fact, they fail to mention, is NDSU has won 8 times in Frisco, JMU once. The best then can expect is twice, and the over-all record in the playoffs versus NDSU is currently 3-1, Bison favor.

In 1987 UNI started the season 3-3 and was headed to Macomb to play a 6-0 Western Illinois team that was highly ranked and just needed to beat UNI to win the conference (after front loading their schedule with conference games). Some writer for the school paper wrote a tongue in cheek column derogatory toward UNI. Conference officials had the championship trophy on-site ready to award to the Leathernecks. UNI came in fired up and pounded them 52-7.

Like I said earlier, unfortunately the Harrsionburg Daily News Record JMU football beat writer, Greg Madia, left for nearby Charlotteville early Nov to cover UVA.
