Greenwald pretty much nails it. The “experts” have nobody but themselves to blame for pandemic skepticism

Greenwald wasn’t red-pilled. That implies a shift from being a progressive to being a conservative.

Greenwald’s politics haven’t changed - he just has integrity and gets pissed at hypocrisy. The same goes for Taibbi and Sam Harris.

I don't have a link, but I will talk about two of the variables. The PCR test looks for certain genetic sequences and "viral debris" can meet that requirement.

Do you remember when the experts first said we did not develop immunity? It was because the test was picking up viral debris and multiplying it to cause a false PCR positive. It's why I rail on the test so much. You have more than 28 cycles and the false positive rate jumps quickly.

That is one way someone can be asymptomatic. They don't actually have the active virus, but have the post infection debris that is picked up by the test.

The real bitch is that the PCR test is not followed up with a viral culture. That's where you really prove that a person has COVID. If you can take the sample, and grow the virus in a culture, it definitively proves you have the virus and not debris. Keep the cycle threshold down and the PCR then performs well.

Plus, you can still "have" COVID, but your body is beating it back enough you aren't displaying symptoms. It essentially doesn't cross a certain threshold for someone to spread the disease or show symptoms. Look at kids. They totally destroy COVID and it is proven they are not a vector for the disease.

This is the other way someone can be asymptomatic.
You should send a copy of this post to the golf lords. They might change the rule.

Nothing, except that I have been vindicated by the CDC on false positives after having COVID, after I spelled it out months ago. You seemed to be implying I was full of shit and should have let the PGA know how wrong their COVID testing was. Iraqi hacker paper writer stuff.

Like I said before, forward this to the golf lords. They are one's that made the rules. My argument was not against your statement, it was saying the PGA made the rules, PERIOD..

Guess so, especially when a guy is busted for six felonies in regards to his dealings with and lying about China. But hey, it's just the same University that was willing to give Epstein an office on campus after everyone knew he was a creep. Apparently aquiring money at Harvard is overlooked, regardless of how it comes in. Yes, my moral compass must be off. Please tell me more.

I guess your “moral compass,” such as it is, is oriented solely to those threads that you’re comfortable posting on. I mentioned the Lieber conviction over on the China thread before Christmas. Try to keep up, pastor.

The Angel of death was funny. I was critical of the protests during a pandemic pretty much from the start. I don’t automatically believe the CDC, CNN, Hot Air, OR Greenwald.

But it’s nice to see some of you embracing Greenwald now that he’s confirming some of your biases.

Now excuse me while I return to this excellent book my 65 year old brother, the anarchist, got me for Christmas…

I am biased towards facts and common sense, and Greenwald wields both of those quite well. He’s pointing out the obvious which many are choosing to ignore.

Or are you disputing what he has said on this subject?

It should be obvious what the issue is: faith-based nostrums and quackery. I have no beef with anyone’s personal beliefs, be they Pentacostal, Muslim, or otherwise. One of the most “Christian” people I knew, in fact, was a professed atheist.

Got it. Bent out of shape because I refuse to take the mRNA or Viral vector vaccine. My choice had NOTHING to do with my faith and everything to do with facts, data and science.
