I have to work this weekend a bit and have already been to a championship game.

Besides I am pretty sure we will get to a 10th one sometime in my lifetime.

Be careful. After Montana went in ‘00, ‘01, 04, ‘08 and ‘09 we felt the same way…no worries, we’ll get there again soon….

Who's going to Frisco?

I'm in Northern Texas, Denison, birthplace of Eisenhower. About 90-mile drive Saturday.

My wife and I will be there - barring flight cancellations.

And.....cancellation happened. Several futile hours on phones and internet. F%$!@# Looks like we won't be there. Had hoped to meet some of you.

COVID Contingency Plan:

1. Minimum 53 healthy players per team: 7 OL, 4 DL, 1 QB, 2 countable coaches. This is NOT mando, though, as a team could CHOOSE to play below this standard.
2. Should one team fall below #1, the NCAA could postpone the game as late as 14 JAN.
3. Once in Frisco (the day before yesterday), if either team chooses not to play, the game will be recorded as a forfeit. If BOTH teams choose not to play, there will be NO 2021 National Champion.

SMH. It's the Natty. Postpone until both teams can play if you have to. This forfeit/vacating business is for the birds....

Everything out of Montana was full (we were willing to pay the inflated prices if we could get a flight). The only real option was to drive down to Salt Lake and hope that cancellations/delays didn't screw us again. Denver was potentially another option but it's further and the highways through Wyoming have been closed off and on the last few days.

At least we got our money back for the flights and hotel. I listed our tickets for the minimum and they already sold. Only lost $35/ticket and everything else got refunded. But I'd sure rather have been inn Dallas. Travelling on Friday just doesn't give much room for error with all the flight problems lately. BobcatNation has people from all over having similar problems.
