Driving in your car alone and wearing a mask? Mock. Outside, around no one else, wearing a mask? Mock. Running or exercising by yourself outside yet still wearing a mask? Mock.Gil Dobie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 8:39 pm
It was required for my grandson's kindergarten. They wore mask more properly than the adults. They didn't fuss about it either. No kids caught covid in class that year, but 1 kid caught it outside of the classroom. Masks are a choice, not to made fun off. Do you make fun of people on Oxygen, or one's that lost their hair from cancer treatment? Live and let live, no one is better than the person next to them.
I mean honestly, if you’re wearing a mask in situations like those, just go ahead and eat a fucking bullet. You’re too far gone to bring back to sanity anyway.

What's the pre-china virus baseline capacity for ICU's in that county?

Your meme specifically mentions masks.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:40 amI posted it because the guy is disinfecting a chair that is already getting plenty of UV and they closed beaches. It's over the top craziness!Gil Dobie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 8:39 pm

Already am on record in this thread as not being bothered by masks, nor wearing them if someone is uncomfortable around me with them off.

I would hope so. 2 things:

Not even remotely close to the full meltdown on the left..Ibanez wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:45 pmI have. It's all ridiculous, partisan nonsense.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 1:52 pm
Have you seen the meltdown the blue check brigade is having over striking down the OSHA mandate? Batshit crazy like those 6 judges are going to be responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of people, amd now we have to pack the court. FAR worse than any angst from the right over the 5-4 on the health care workers..I agree with you.
And it's about equal to that of Republicans that Brett and Roberts sided with the Libs.

Ironic statement coming from someone who was part of the election was stolen nuclear meltdown ...

Yes, by the same people who recommended spraying an outdoor chair with disinfectant.Gil Dobie wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 6:52 pmYour meme specifically mentions masks.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:40 am

The people telling you to put an N95 on your kid are the same people who closed beaches to stop Covid.

Yeah…they’re just pretending so they can make a buck.

Three things I learned about the U of Chi.

So you admit it, ok.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 9:07 pmYes, by the same people who recommended spraying an outdoor chair with disinfectant.

Thats a lot of death. People seam to be okay with other peoples death. We are no better than China, as far as human rights for lthe people with comorbidities

UofC is an interesting school. I would guess one of the few top schools with much diversity of thought. The business and law school are more conservative while the other schools are more liberal. There should be more schools like UofC where students can develop their critical thinking skills through discussion and debate rather than having their biases confirmed in echo chambers.kalm wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:14 amThree things I learned about the U of Chi.
1). IIRC, A young genius from Montana named Phaedrus takes down one of the great philosophical minds in American academia but goes insane during the process because the school won’t admit he has a point.
2). Their economics school blows.

What do you think the normal ICU occupation level is? And there are a shitload of elective procedures that end up in ICU for sometimes multiple days before they’re moved to a regular room.

Data is a little old (Dec 31), but still an interesting site to actually get an idea of how many beds are out there.

I can't believe somebody is dumb enough to still be using that 5% of COVID-19 deaths solely attributable to COVID-19 thing. You just keep seeing this debunked crap surface over and over again. Good spot to again use the discussion of the situation in the video linked below the text in this post (you'll probably have to click the little sound icon to turn the sound on).

Unreal. Really makes me want to go out and get that booster. NOT.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 12:26 pm I brought this data issue up awhile ago. Essentially considering someone unvaxxed until two weeks after second shot is really messing with the data.
This is the first real data I've seen on this topic. Look at how many hospitalizations and deaths occur within the first 14 days of getting your shot.
