How does the recently enacted Emergency Act (or whatever they call it up there) impact elections?

My guess is not much. Trudeau was elected by the cites of Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver and he can do no wrong in their eyes. His mistake in calling an early election was forgetting that while he was elected by those three cites, they are not all of Canada.

Crackdown on the protesters has begun. The organizers of the convoy were arrested and the feds have moved in on the truckers. We'll see what the next move will be, but if the truckers mean business then a general strike is in order.

Yeah those vastly outnumbered fed police were some real jack booted thugs for trying to defend themselves & that fed building(s) from attacks from large crowds who were smashing windows, shooting commericial grade fireworks and molotov cocktails, throwing bricks, rocks, frozen water bottles, etc at the police, shining lasers in officers eyes, all while wearing homemade protective gear, etc for several months.

There is one floating around about UND when NDSU won their first National championship after moving up. It is especially hilarious as Ralph Engelstad (the man that built/owned/donated their Hockey Area) was a noted Nazi memorabilia collector and was censured a couple of times by the Nevada gaming commission for holding themed costume parties on Hitlers birthday.

It is also why some NDSU fans refer to the UND board (Siouxsports) as the Hitler Youth Board (HYB for short).
